Yáʼátʼééh — welcome. Of the Nation, for the Nation.
Running Horse Services belongs to the people it serves.
We’re your relatives and neighbors. We know these roads, these winters, and what it means when a family runs out of heat on a cold night out past the highway. We built this company around one standard: show up, and be of this place.
Running Horse Services is owned by the Navajo Nation. We are not a national chain, and we are not a call center three states away. When you call 505-531-0082, you reach someone who knows your area, knows your account, and can actually help.
Of the Nation, for the Nation. A national company can buy trucks and undercut on price for a season. It can never say that it belongs to the people it serves. We can. The money you spend on heat stays here — helping the roads, the schools, and the community we share.
We began by bringing propane to community members across the Nation, and that mission still drives us: safe, reliable, consistent service for Diné families and businesses, on Diné land. Every driver on our fleet is CETP-certified — trained to the industry safety standard, because that matters on your property and around your family.
“We service the Navajo Nation and local communities in our neighboring area… passionate about giving back to the Navajo people… dedicated to investing in their future and well-being.”
Our story
Built here, for here
- The start
A tribally-owned energy company begins a service to bring propane to community members across the Navajo Nation. (Milestones owner-confirmed.)
- Growing the reach
The route grows to serve the chapters and the long roads larger companies pass over — same promise, more miles.
- Keep-full
Automatic keep-full delivery is added so families stop watching the gauge and stop facing a run-out in the cold.
- Today
Serving homes, ranches, and the community across the Four Corners — Navajo-owned, and a neighbor still picks up the phone.
What we stand for
Your propane company should be of this place. We are.
Dependable delivery
We show up on schedule — including the days the weather is worst and the road is longest.
Navajo-owned
Owned by the Nation and serving the Nation — your dollars stay in the community.
CETP-certified drivers
Every driver is trained to the industry safety standard. Safety around your family is not optional.
